PRIVATE SESSIONS

Joseph Pilates invented "contrology" (now referred to as "Pilates") for the purpose of addressing the individual physical needs of a diverse population. In addition to borrowing ideas and exercises from yoga, boxing, gymnastics and diving, Pilates created exercises based on individuals' potential and limitations. In a private Pilates session, you will work within your range - whether that be performing the full expression of movement or moving carefully and concentrated. Every *body* is different and ALL levels of physical strength are welcome.

  1. wow. this is cool. i've tried pilates once or twice. i found it extremely difficult, but obviously good for the body/core. depending on where i find myself moving after this semester, i will come and take some lessons from you. need to find out your pricing...
